"Nanodiscs are useful for membrane biology in the study of membrane proteins because they represent a more native environment than liposomes" ... hum... how do you get to that conclusion? Can you purify nanodiscs from cell culture? I doubt that they are more representative than liposome, but no doubt that they are excellent for serious scientific studies
