Not one of Nicki's best songs, IMO, but good work by you! I'll put the review on hold for now. Adabow (talk · contribs) 10:02, 29 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Lead

edit
  • "Produced by The Legendary Traxster, the song serves as the second single from his seventh album..." reads like it is The Legendary Traxster's album
Done
  • "The song was a commercial success, peaking at eleven on" → number eleven
Done
  • Similarly number two on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs

Background

edit
  • "The official remix features Eve, Trina, & Diamond, Ludacris only has background vocals." → The official remix features Eve, Trina, and Diamond, while Ludacris appears with only background vocals.
Done
  • "The remix was also included on the album..." This is the first section, so you should reintroduce the title of the album
  • Maybe imply Luda[cris] in Eve's quote?

Composition

edit
  • Please trim File:Mychickbad.ogg to 21.5 seconds. If you prefer I will trim it if you tell me what to trim (I recommend a bit off each end).
  • "Nathan Rabin of The A.V. Club described the song as "swaggering", as it has been called "rambunctious" by XXL" as→and
Done.
  • Citation for references to Williams sisters?

Critical reception

edit
  • "XXL said, Minaj's turn at the song.." no need for comma after 'said'
Done
  • Last two sentences need attention.
Some user added that false review, removed.

Chart performance

edit
  • Italicise Billboard
Done
  • "After its release to radio followed by increasing digital sales" comma needed after 'radio'
Done
  • As the song is no longer on any BB charts, you will need to remove this from the paragraph, and replace the current reference with [1] (this doesn't reference any appearance on R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, though).
Replaced with Allmusic
  • Every chart position should be preceded by 'number' (eg number forty-six). You seem to have done this throughout the article, so you may have a reason. If so, please dispute this comment!
Well usually it depends on the user reviewing and sometimes I've been in reviews that allow so sometimes I forget.
  • "Although the song never officially went for adds on mainstream airplay" → Although the song was never officially added to mainstream airplay. Is there a reference for this (I doubt there is, but maybe a critic has remarked on this too)?
Well it cannot be "added" on mainstream airplay as each mainstream station adds separately. But this was derived from the lack of the song on lists of radio adds, but somehow it appeared on the Pop Songs chart. Candyo32 01:48, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Music video

edit
  • The top half of the image is fine, but does the bottom frame of the video add anything? It needs to be discussed somewhere, but I don't really see what is notable about that frame. You also misspelled Freddy Krueger in the caption.
Well I added it since Ludacris is the main artist and include him but the scene with Minaj in the dungeon is the video's highlight.
What about at the beginning, where he is on the film set - you discuss this? Adabow (talk · contribs) 02:10, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
  • "Two clips were filmed the original and for the remix." - rewrite
Done
  • "Nicki Minaj plays a stylish Freddy Krueger" 'stylish'? Sounds POV.
Done
I still see "stylish" there... Adabow (talk · contribs) 02:13, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
  • "Eve, Trina, and Diamond, make cameos near the end of the video." Reference? No comma needed after 'Diamond'
Done
  • You mention what Minaj does in the video in both paragraphs
Done
  • "before The video ends with" - lower case 'the'
Done
  • Last sentence needs a rewrite
Done. Candyo32 02:04, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Charts

edit
  • Maybe retitle this as 'Charts and certifications', remove sub-heading, and {{col-2}} the section?
Done. Candyo32 02:05, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

References

edit
Done.
Radio & Records still needs to be linked. Adabow (talk · contribs) 02:16, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
I fixed the image, and Radio & Records was linked in its first mentioning. Candyo32 18:43, 21 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
OK, I'll finally pass the article now! :) Adabow (talk · contribs) 00:39, 22 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
