The status of the plans mentioned in the article needs to be updated. I'm visiting Basel now and will try to find out about it. (In fact I'm looking forward to visiting the museum.) -- Rob C. alias Alarob 19:59, 17 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Done. They're doing an archaeological dig first. -- ℜob ℂ. alias ⒶⓁⒶⓇⓄⒷ 18:56, 20 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

The history of the museum needs clarifying. My recollection from museum publications is that the museum first opened in the Berri-Bau, the 1840s neoclassical building on Augustinergasse that now houses the (related? affiliated?) Museum of Natural History. The Museum of Cultures is now in an older building on the Münsterplatz. Don't know when the move occurred. -- ℜob ℂ. alias ⒶⓁⒶⓇⓄⒷ 17:33, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
