I added the initial publication of the source code based on the git commit (https://github.com/mruby/mruby/commit/e0d6430f63c4cbe0c71ce82ee23284671389a818). Work itself on mruby started already earlier internally. We didn't publish any information about these start dates so this is the only verifiable information.
