I added a citation for the origin of the word. I think that the entry needs some work inasmuch as what is reported here is sketchy and impressionistic. From what I've read about Somalia the word should have an entry since a correct understanding of the concept enables one to have a better understanding of the continuing conflicts in Somalia. The "Mooryaan" are not simply thugs but are young men sidetracked into crime and piracy due to intense poverty. LAWinans (talk) 03:40, 27 July 2012 (UTC)
