Junior College?

This article has several references to "the junior college" yet it isn't clear what it is referring to. In the U.S. the term junior college generally refers to a post-secondary school that offers an associates degree for two years of study as its highest offering. In most regions the term junior college has been phased out and replaced by community college over the last few decades. If Midland University used to be a Junior college I think that needs to be called out more clearly. If there is, or was, a separate institution/location that offered the first two years of study only, that needs to be called out more clearly. I suppose it could be something else completely that I didn't even think about.Fulner (talk) 19:06, 2 February 2022 (UTC)

Extremely Biased Editors

To other anon users who keep editing the page, Stop the biased and hateful editing of the page. Yes your program may have been cut but that does not give you the right to slander the school and other students such as student atheletes. This site is for information, not for one-sided views on issues!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.189.123.1 (talk) 10:06, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

tags

To anon users who are presumably associated with the college, stop removing the tags. There are clearly no references. Most sections are written like advertisements and are riddled with biased statements/opinions presented as fact. It looks like most of the content was copied directly from an admissions pamphlet. The lists should be be consolidated into a more encyclopedic format, assuming that the information actually belongs in the article. If you can improve the article, please do so, but be aware of conflicts of interest and also review these policies. D-Fluff has had E-Nuff 19:01, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

copyvio

After repeated edits by anon editors removing the tags, I decided to finally investigate why they may be doing this and looked at the school's website to see if some of the text came directly from there. I found the following sections pulled almost directly from the following pages on the site:

It is likely the rest of the text is also almost directly copied from the site, but I didn't have time to look all of it up. Doctorfluffy 16:17, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

I purged the article from the copyright violation. Garion96 (talk) 21:16, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

important correction

Hello my name is James from Midland University in Fremont, NE. I was hoping to update the information that is posted about Midland University and its athletics. Midland now offers Mens and Womens ice hockey as a varsity sport so if i could conformation about that being changed in this article that would be great. Thank you very much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.189.123.25 (talk) 18:31, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
