The identification of Microdontosaurus as a melanorosaurid is due to Olshevsky (1991), but there is no justification for this identification. Moreover, Microdontosaurus Zhao, 1983 is pre-occupied by Microdontosaurus Gilmore, 1902. See http://theropoddatabase.blogspot.com/2011/01/microdontosaurus-zhaos-nomina-nuda-part.html for more information. Can you please update the article accordingly?
