This should probably be about Dyer Vineyard

While there is a possibility given Coombsville growing reputation and Schuler's financial resources that the Meteor vineyards will become very well known. That is not really the case right now. However, Dyer Vineyards does have a fear amount of independent coverage and there is a lot of intrigue and anticipation about their Meteor Vineyards label that it may be best to refashion this article as Dyer Vineyard and include a blurb about the Meteor Vineyard label and the vineyard it from. Notability

I added a Prod tag as, in my opinion, the article is not notable, as per WP:N.--BodegasAmbite (talk) 20:59, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

If you review the article, and do a little searching, the subject seems to pass the formal WP:N criterion - significant mentions in reliable sources.[1] However, it is one of the less notable vineyards / winemakers in the region and if you chose even to double or quadruple Wikipedia's coverage of wine it is not on the list of wineries I would think deserve an article. Small, new, or relatively unknown vineyards can certainly be notable or a number of reasons, but this one is all three and other than having a famous owner and making decent (apparently) wine does not seem to stand out in any way. Under the circumstances I suggest merging any useful material and sources to the article about its owner, who certainly is notable. They just released their first wine a year ago, so if production expands and it wins acclaim it might become notable later - at that time, if there is a sufficient showing, the article can be recreated with additional information and sources. Unless there is opposition, I suggest just merging and creating a redirect - no administrator or process is really necessary. Wikidemon (talk) 21:13, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

Took care of it. The important thing to keep in mind when doing a Merge is to leave an attribution note on the talk page of the new location (such as what I did on Talk:Barry Schuler so as to preserve the GFDL history. Agne^Cheese/^Wine 06:00, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
