Largest theme parks in UK
I'm askng for proof that Alton Towers is largest theme park in UK and Thorpe Park is second largest. Much of Thorpe Park is lakes. Can you supply a link that tells us of their size? On Wikipedia articles, both Thorpe Park and Alton are described as 500 acres. Double check it please.
I think it is refuring to popularity rather then size. According to Themed Entertainment Association, in 2007 Alton Towers had 2.4 million visitors and Thorpe Park had 1.7 million visitors. The two most popular UK theme parks. I think that it should be changed.
