It's obvious that you misunderstand what is importance in archaeology and the word is Menelaion--Kalogeropoulos (talk) 20:14, 21 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi Kalogeropoulos. a) Feel free to change it; the rating concerns importance in the WP Archaeology project, and while I am not a member of it, I just don't think that one isolated site is that important for "Archaeology" as a topic. It is certainly not the Acropolis. b) The Greek Ministry of Culture calls this Μενελάειον, which as anyone who knows Greek can tell, is transliterated Menelaeion. So that isn't wrong. If for whatever reason in English usage is otherwise, and you are confident that this is established usage, then fine by me to change it back. c) You can afford to be less snarky and offhand with someone who is merely trying to help you write a better article. Hi Constantine. Bibliographic reference says otherwise, but redirect is kept, anyway as it is precise transliteration. Thanks for text help. As it concerns importance since Menelaion is a far ancient heroon, dedicated to heroic cult, it's far more important than any kind of acropolis. Of course this is strictly the archaeological point of view. Other disciplines may consider otherwise. Χαίρε! --Kalogeropoulos (talk) 21:07, 21 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
