Combine with "Residency" page?
Disagree. In the practice of medicine requiring an MD or DO there are subfields such as dermatology, various kinds of surgery, general internal medicine and its subfields (such as endocrinology, gastroenterology, etc.) refered to collectively, in law and commonly, as "medicine". Thus "medical residency" can include pediatrics, psychiatry, neurology, surgery, pathology, etc. as well as the subfields of internal medicine. Matching plans deal with nearly all of the these residencies (and a few non-medical training programs, e.g. clinical psychology). The question should be, move "Residency" into "Medical Residency" ?

Definitely. Can't have two articles on the same thing. I'd suggest merging this page into Residency (medicine), as I think that title is better — most people searching for information about residency training would think "Residency", rather than"Medical residency." Agree I like the residency(medicine) better. That way all the concerns about the term Medical Residency can be folded into a nice catch-all term InvictaHOG 00:31, 5 October 2005 (UTC)
