Should the title not be "USS Mayflower II - 1896". or somesuch thing? I find reference to such a ship built in 1896 (in Scotland) and decommisioned in 1904 to use as a presidential yacht for President Theodore Roosevelt. It had quite a history that would be a good article if that is the ship referenced in this article.
