Italic title

edit

@Samee: Per WP:MOS#Foreign words, "Proper names (such as place names) in other languages, however, are not usually italicized, nor are terms in non-Latin scripts." Nick Number (talk) 19:40, 27 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Well it reads 'are not USUALLY italicized'. I believe title of the page should remain italicized to distinguish it from English words. Please feel free to revert your edit. -- sami  talk 19:46, 27 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
Is there a particular reason that this article's title should be italicized when those of other non-English places aren't? For instance, none of the cities in List of cities in Punjab, Pakistan by area are italicized. What makes this name exceptional?
Also, what edit are you suggesting that I revert? You already reverted my removal of the Italic title tag. Nick Number (talk) 19:55, 27 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
Because it's the name of a village that's why I kept it in italics. The examples you cited are of cities, which are well known. I suggested you to revert my edit. You posted here five minutes after I reverted your edit. Obviously it meant to revert the edit that reverted your edit.  sami  talk 06:23, 28 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
