There are words that have multiple acceptable forms:
From a descriptive perspective, if both forms occur frequently, neither is correct, though it is still possible to say which form occurs more frequently.
(though prescriptivists of course would say that it's possible for one to be correct)
For buy-in, the form buyin seems to be less common than buy in or buy-in. --Hirsutism (talk) 12:25, 20 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
