Prose

edit

*Per the rest of the article the lead should begin with "The Maldives". *The second paragraph in § Background is uncited. *In § Background, could 50 metre freestyle and men's 100 metre freestyle be wikilinked to somewhere? I was thinking wikilink the first to freestyle swimming or something similar for readers unfamiliar with swimming-related events. *"two would go on to represent the Maldives at the following 1996 games." – wikilink 1996 games to Maldives at the 1996 Summer Olympics. *Could the body of the articles be wikilinked to the events? Like "Ahmed Shageef competed in the men's 100 metres" to Athletics at the 1992 Summer Olympics – Men's 100 metres etc. Keep the wikitable links as they are of course. *"He had previously participated in the 1988 games in Seoul, South Korea" – Seoul is a duplicate link. *"75th out off 77" – of. *"he finished 62nd out off 66 athletes" – same point as above. *"athletes from United States" – duplicate link. Also; *the United States.

Refs
