  • Agree. Two wrongs may not make a right but three stubs will likely make a good Wikipedia entry. Shingen 21:40, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

Makaiju and Deku?

I was wondering, would anyone be adverse to a mention of the Great Deku Tree from Ocarina of Time? I notice the whole 'infested by evil' 'regrown as a sapling' thing to be similar, and it helps feed my lil dream of Link getting together with Saria when he goes back to being a kid :) So they're like Allan and Ann, sorta. --Tyciol 09:11, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

I don't think it's necessary to reference the Great Deku Tree here. I'm sure that neither was an influence on the other, so why would you even mention it?? BettyAnn 00:21, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

Female gender?

Well, it's like a mother sorta so... I guess that makes sense more than he. Honestly I always thought of the tree as an it.... Tyciol 06:49, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

Merge and (maybe) Rename

Talk:Makaiju/merge Merge three stub articles into one article on the filler arc of SMR. --Kunzite 15:43, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

I am not really against that. -- ReyBrujo 16:30, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

Intro & article name

If we're going to describe all villains from the second arc of the Sailor Moon anime in this article, the title needs to be changed to reflect this. Also, to be considered encyclopedic, this article really needs an introductory paragraph. -- Denelson83 22:23, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

Any naming suggestions? I couldn't think of any but.. Sailor Moon R villains (first arc), and it's a a bit stupid. Miller calls them "Aliens". Makaiju Aliens? Who was the director that created these characters? That should be mentioned in the article. --Kunzite 16:39, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Copyright problem!

This article uses five screenshots. We're only allowed one. --Masamage 18:32, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

Where is this stated at? --Kunzite 20:02, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
In the dropdown menu at Special:Upload. On the other hand, it's unclear whether that is a hard-and-fast rule, especially considering it's apparently not in the guidelines. (Nevertheless, doesn't five seem sort of excessive?) --Masamage 22:02, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
Excel Saga is featured. It has 5 screenshots and two comic covers. I don't think it's hard-and-fast. (Or even a rule at all.) This was a merged article. We need to have justification for the images and they need to support critical commentary about the work at hand or they need to provide identification. We could go down to two, if you wanted to change to a group shot of the Ginga siblings and then the aliens with the tree. --Kunzite 00:59, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
Okay; I concede. ^_^ That all sounds good. I think having two screenshots like you describe would indeed be better, but for entirely aesthetic reasons. Anyway, I don't have access to the episodes or a screen-capture program, so I'll leave it alone. Thanks for your responses! --Masamage 01:08, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

Images

When I removed the redundancy in this article, the Character sections were too short to support two different pictures, so I had to trade them out. :/ To make up for it, I found a shot of Ail and Ann together and put it at the top. The ones I took out are Image:Ail.JPG and Image:Ann-ev.JPG. --Masamage 18:00, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Doesn't seem like there's any important reason. Aesthetic choice, I guess. "Hell" and "doom" are really pretty closely-related terms. --Masamage 01:37, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
