Main Chain and Water Divide
The Main Chain of the Alps forms the main European Water Divide (between Atlantic-North Sea-Baltic Sea on one an Mediterrean-Black Sea on the other side) only on relatively shorts stretches (approx. between Furka an Lunghin Passes). In the other parts, it necessarely is also a water divide, but only of second category (mainly between Rhône and Po in the Western, between Adriatic an Black Sea in the Eastern Alps). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.228.163.82 (talk) 02:09, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
Wrong Glacier lengths - for over 10 years ! :P ?
editSo - see my recent edits (+ the following one). I guess the glaciers have probably melted some since 2002 as well, but I doubt they were still the same length as 1911. Guess for reliability, its still best to take WP with a grain of salt, in general... 5.56.244.141 (talk) 22:03, 13 June 2018 (UTC)
