Disestablishment

edit

@Norden1990: MTI as an individual company was established in 1880, and was integrated into Duna Médiaszolgáltató in 2015, so that time was "disestablished" by law. Could you please justify why the category you are deleting is inappropriate? Thanks, JSoos (talk) 10:45, 2 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Because MTI is still a working institution with the same function. The organizational background is irrelevant. --Norden1990 (talk) 12:10, 2 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Norden1990: Absolutely not irrelevant how an "institution" -as you call- is organised, concerning financial, and controlling responsibility. As a Legal person it is important, that it does not exist any more. Since Hungary not a socialist country for a while ago, it can not be irrelevant how state property is organised. Anyhow, all "institutions" of Duna Médiaszolgáltató are its "directorates" and so all concerning articles was put in this category. If you think it is not correct, you should dispute that equally for all (eg. Magyar Televízió), and not only MTI. JSoos (talk) 13:06, 2 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Norden1990: Could you be so kind and talk here about your reasons, why do you remove referenced statements from the article calling them "nonsense". Here is the original press release in Hungarian with more details.JSoos (talk) 12:40, 6 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Norden1990: As we had a long discussions on your talk page in Hungarian about what do you mean "MTI is a working institution" against the Hungarian law which clearly states that former "institutions" (Duna Televízió, Magyar Televízió, Magyar Rádió, MTI) was merged to a single state owned company, and you were not able to reason and give sources to support your opinion, I put back the category once again, as it is valid equally for the other mentioned articles. The last paragraph in the article is correct and statements are referenced with correct sources, while other parts are out of date (as the template also signs). Reliability

edit

It's a marketleader, and is considered by some sources to be a 'balanced and reliable source'.

The source for this being from 2001 makes it very out of date. There is now also a leak of internal MTI emails (part 2) detailing the lack of impartiality. Reinistalk 20:20, 8 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
