The second sentence of this article states that the cost for this building was a half-million dollars ( without reference ). Later the final sentence of the "History" section states, with a reference, that the final cost was $3 million.

O.K. which is correct ? Half a mil, or 6 times that amount ?

The reference for the $3 mil statement and others in the article is #3, clicking on that takes one to:

http://hockey.ballparks.com/NHL/NewYorkRangers/2ndoldindex.htm.

The hockey.ballparks.com page gives Mediaventures for it's sources. Clicking on that link takes one to another ballparks.com page:

http://mall.ballparks.com/index.php?vendor_id=16.

A Virtual Mall page where sports fans can purchase items ballparks.com are selling.

Seriously ? Can't someone get accurate figures for the cost of construction from sources other than a commercial web site ? ,or at least give a reference for the half million amount ?

Can ballparks.com be considered a reliable source when one can't check their sources ?

The ballparks.com page states that the building was demolished in 1924. (w/o a source, unless you consider Mediaventures a source lol. )

The Wiki article gives 1925 as the date of closing twice ( w/o references ),and no date of demolition.
