Hi @Kymariphillips I am also a wikiedu student and wanted to reach out because I've chosen to edit this article for my assignment! This means I will be editing and correcting a substantial amount of your original work, and I wanted to invite you to look at my sandbox draft for this piece and the edits I'll be adding to your own writing before I post it in a few weeks, because I'd rather we can talk through some of the changes I want to make than just do it without warning! Feel free to take a look and reply to this thread! I'll be happily watching it. Leinaala03 (talk) 22:54, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Copyright edit

Unless this poem is now in the public domain, you may not, of course, reproduce it in full, and quoting the entire poem is hardly fair use. I have thus deleted it. Even if it is in the public domain, Wikipedia is not a place to collect such material. The poem is reproduced on dozens of web pages.

Given this removal, unless there is notable information to add to this article about the poem, the article should be deleted. —johndburger 13:21, 16 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Completely disagree. You have, essentially, vandalised this article by removing the poem, and then saying "given this removal" (as if its removal had nothing to do with you), the article should now be removed, is completely circular. Please restore the poem to this article. 49.183.25.221 (talk) 11:54, 22 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Adding a "Legacy" section to this article edit

I am a wikiedu student using this article as my project. In my research I have found a few creative interpretations of this poem, namely published sheet music and compositions inspired by this poem and a short film posted to youtube. Originally, I thought to cite and reference these sources under a "Legacy" heading to show the depth and influence of this poem, but I'm not sure if it's justifiably important enough to include. Please let me know you're thoughts, Thanks! Leinaala03 (talk) 18:17, 10 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
