editI just authored this stub on MacBASIC, and would like to help in making this a real article. I think MacBASIC is noteworthy because it was one of the earliest and well-publicized examples of Microsoft's ability to dominate the computer business. Any feedback on what parts of this language and software development environment are noteworthy would be appreciated.
I don't know how to do references to books, so I just did a link to an Amazon search inside. Can someone point me to a better way? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kimdonndenman (talk • contribs) 06:46, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
- I changed the format of the cite to be template:cite book. Couldn't find a better URL, but it is not necessary, so I left it to point to Amazon. hub (talk) 17:19, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
Macintosh BASIC vs MS BASIC
editThe article claim BYTE benchmarked it.
The primary source https://archive.org/details/byte-magazine-1984-04/ doesn't have any such benchmark. Only absolute timings. hub (talk) 15:54, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
Name
editEverywhere I look the name in "Macintosh BASIC" and not "Mac BASIC". hub (talk) 17:20, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
