Where exactly do these facts come from? They may be self-evident to those who are aware of government structure (especially to people who live in the U.K., but could someone at least put a government website link up? I, personally, don't know if this is fact or fiction, as most of my MI knowledge is from James Bond. 68.226.6.154 02:24, 14 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

MI8

edit

I always thought that MI8 was formed to assist POWs escape from POW camps in WWII. I remember reading years ago that they would devise codes that were taught to flyers so if they were shot down they could communicate with UK. Can;'t recall where i read it though. MI 18

edit

In relation to: "MI18: Unknown (may have never existed - reason to believe North America)" This is a totally unsubstantiated claim and should surely be deleted until some source is identified. Why would it be necessary for the government to have an intelligence agency for an Ally? and if they did, would it not come under the durestiction of MI6?

MI13

edit

This article says "reconnaissance", but the MI13 article simply says "unused". Which is right? -- LodeRunner 07:57, 14 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

M13 - unused or not?

edit

This page gives a use for M13, but what M13 links to says it's unused. Could that mean previously used, now defunct?

This page seems to me to be pretty much the same as Directorate of Military Intelligence. Merge, anyone? Leushenko 01:36, 2 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
