Overall, this article is looking good. There were three things I noticed during the review:

  1. "The post office in Sagola was established in 1889 to serve the timber-harvesting community" - unless there is some link that I'm not seeing, the post office doesn't seem relevant to the article.
  2. "a unique junction of highways" - what makes it unique?
  3. All of the other road articles that I've reviewed have a reference in the "Major intersections" table. For consistency, this one should as well.

I will place this nomination on hold to allow for these concerns to be addressed and/or discussed. Any questions and/or comments can be left here, as I have placed this page on my watchlist. Best wishes, GaryColemanFan (talk) 03:40, 25 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

  1. We're always being asked to provide context to the communities served by the various highway, in addition to descriptions of the areas served by the highway, the terrain covered and the surroundings. That's why that's listed, same as the information on Ranville.
  2. Most of the time, two highways with the same number don't meet, making this intersection unique.
  3. Must have missed adding that when I updated the table. It's added in now.

Any further feedback as always is encouraged. Imzadi1979 (talk) 04:04, 25 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the quick response. The post office thing would work better if it related direcly to the road (for example, if the post office is along the road, this could be worked into the sentence (eg. "The road passes by the post office in Sagola, which was established in 1889 to serve the timber-harvesting community."). I would appreciate it if you could look into this, but I don't think it's a big enough issue to hold up the GAN process. The article appears to fit the criteria, so I am promoting it. Thanks again for your hard work, GaryColemanFan (talk) 20:59, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
