GA review (see here for criteria)

  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose):   b (MoS):
    • The sentence "Construction and planning during the 1950s and 60s started the divided highway and freeway conversions." sounds awkward.
    • The sentence "The plans at the time were to extend the freeway west one mile to Mound Road and then have it continue south along the Mound Road corridor into Detroit (in fact, a four-level freeway-to-freeway interchange had already been completed at the intersection of Mound Road and I-696 in Warren) to connect with the Davison Freeway and I-96" needs to be reworded, particularly by moving the statement in parentheses.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references):   b (citations to reliable sources):   c (OR):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects):   b (focused):
    • Can you mention the original northern terminus of M-53 in the lead?
    • Can the physical surrounings in the Warren area be mentioned as that is where the suburbs begin?
    • Can the lane configurations of M-53 be mentioned?
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales):   b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

I will place the article on hold for a few fixes to be made. Dough4872 02:53, 11 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

All are done except the comment about Warren; there's not really a difference in the residential areas between sides of the county line. Imzadi 1979  03:30, 11 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
I will now pass the article. Dough4872 03:36, 11 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
