Does this genus still exist?

edit

I thought Lycosa was split into several different genuses recently. Kaldari (talk) 15:46, 1 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Do you have any verification for that thought? The highly reputable CSIRO is still using the names L. godeffroyi and L. simsoni. Maybe the genus was split but keeping the original name for some members. Cheers Bjenks (talk) 03:20, 3 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
The courtship behavior of Lycosa rabida is detailed by Rainer Foelix on pages 238-239 of his Biology of Spiders (3rd edition). Once the question as to the continuing existence of the genus is resolved, shouldn't this species be added to the list? Markjoseph125 (talk) 17:55, 15 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
