Hello interested parties. There are some factual inaccuracies in this article that I'd like to fix such as dates and discography.

As a member of the band I agree there are many factual inaccuracies that need to be fixed. I tried to correct this article before but some clown rolled back my changes. The band would be happy to confirm these facts in a variety of ways: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/LUSTRAmusic/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/lustramusic Email: admin@lustramusic.com

If some other means of corroboration is required, I'd appreciate it if someone would tell me rather than just rolling this back to the current garbage.

  • Breakfast at Tammy's was our first full-length recorded when the band was called Seventeen and based on Somerville, MA.
  • Nick Cloutman briefly left the band to attend college in New York.
  • When Nick left, Chris Baird moved from drums to bass.
  • Scott Benson of XOFF records signed us on the strength of our local following and airplay on the local shows of WAAF, WBCN, and WFNX.
  • We recorded an EP, "Ransom Your Handsome" in 1999 with Scott Riebling at Q Division Studios. This EP was mixed by Ron St. Germain.
  • Tony Mellace joined as our drummer shortly after.
  • We recorded additional songs with Ron St. Germain at Longview Studios in rural Massachusetts and combined these with those from "Ransom Your Handsome" to make the second Full-Length record "Bikini Pie Fight." This record was released in 2000 and distributed through V2 records.
  • We were sued by Primedia Corporation (parent company of Seventeen Magazine) and it was at this point that we decided to move to Los Angeles. This was a real kick in the balls and we're still pissed about it.
  • After arriving in Los Angeles, we changed the band name to Lustra.
  • Bruce Fulford did not join the band until 2001 when we moved to Los Angeles, is not currently a member of the band, and has not been a member of the band since 2004
  • Guitarist Jon Baird did not leave the band in 2001. He left after our winter tour of South Africa in 2003.
  • Shortly after, guitarist Kent Brisley briefly took his place.
  • We flew to Prague in 2003 to film Eurotrip which came out in February 2004.
  • Scotty Doesn't Know was written at the request of the writer/directors expressly for the scene in which it appeared.
  • Guitarist Jason Adams and Drummer Bruce Fulford left the band in 2004
  • Travis Lee joined the band shortly after.
  • Jason Adams rejoined the band ca 2008-2009, replacing Travis Lee.

Accusing of Miley Cyrus edit

I've read the "articles" which this piece of information is based on, and they all seem like trash, where the band members' comments seem sarcastic at best. I don't think this is noteworthy in the slightest and should probably be removed. TheCosmicFrog (talk) 14:04, 6 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
