"Love is in the Heir" is a reality show that ran for one season in 2004 on the E! network. The show followed Anne Claire von Shaick, an Iranian princess (she is the granddaughter of HIH Princess Shams of the Pahlavi Dynasty) as she pursues her hope of becoming a country singer in Los Angeles with the help of her assistant Michael. Anne Claire desperately wishes to become a country superstar, despite her painful lack of singing ability. Von Shaick, who goes by Princess Anne Claire on the show, is also searching for love on "Love is in the Heir", hence the title of the show.
Her dissaproving parents, who live in England, have given Anne Claire an ultimatum- either she must find an appropriate young man and get a recording contract before what the "the charity gala" — or they will cut her off financially.
She recorded one song from the show, titled "Rubber Hits the Road"
