Strapping vs lashing

edit

As far as I can tell there isn't any difference between the two as explained in the article. As such, I propose the two sections be merged together. Wizard191 (talk) 20:57, 4 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Note that based on the new definition for strapping, which doesn't have a ref, the section shouldn't be included in this article because it is about creating transportable units not about securing these transportable units. As such, I recommend it be removed. Wizard191 (talk) 17:38, 8 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
I have added background on unit loads that should clarify this. Rlsheehan (talk) 17:44, 8 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Strapping to me is the banding used to hold together multiple items into a single unit. Hodpy63 (talk) 19:12, 16 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Dunnage bags section is too long

edit

There is an article on this topic therefore the section here should be short...a summary of the target article. Any references should be in the main article not this one. Wizard191 (talk) 02:33, 5 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Bracing picture, bade example

edit

The bracing picture is a really bad example. There is free space before and behind the cargo. Thats not how it should be done . --95.88.153.113 (talk) 12:59, 11 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
