Ambiguity in open paragraph re. Box-Pierce vs. Ljung–Box

"The Box-Pierce test statistic is a simplified version of the Ljung–Box statistic for which subsequent simulation studies have shown poor performance.". Which of the two test has shown poor performance? It's not clear from this sentence due to its ambiguous reference. 206.47.94.139 (talk) 04:26, 4 August 2015 (UTC)
