Waldo Schaeffer- a character?

In the credits for Season 2 (the actual credits, seen outside of standard Miguzi airings in which their credits are used), there is a 'cutscene', in which a case file is seen. The file has some interesting information- including pictures of the Project Carthage workers, a picture of Franz Hopper and his wife (with the wife pregnant, presumably with Aelita), and several strips of film with Hopper on them, dated '1994'. On the cover of the case file is the name 'Waldo Schaeffer'-presumably the investigator that found all that stuff. Does he necessarily count as a character in this stage of story development? Should information on him and the case file be added? -An IP Address

What do we know about him? He has his name on a folder. Maybe it was Hopper's original name (seems unlikely, but you never know). Maybe he led Project Carthage. Any section on him would be a sentance of fact and a bunch of speculation. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 23:53, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

Actually, Waldo Schaeffer is Franz Hopper! His real full name is Waldo Franz Schaeffer. Hopper is his wife's maiden name. Waldo Schaeffer now calls himself Franz Hopper to keep the government away. --LyokoWarrior5139

Hiroki being the next Team Lyoko member?

Some have thought that Hiroki may be the next addition to the group, next to Jim and Sissi--after all, he has never been very important in any episode--but until Season 3, we cannot say for sure.

True. But there's a rumor that XANA will take a physical form in Season 3. And the writers will have to decide that, too. Besides, Hiroki has a right to join the team just like Jim or Sissi. Sigh. I mean, Hiroki came out of the blue from Exploration, and we didn't see him in any other episode--including Season 1! It's crazy. I say, they wouldn't create an extra character for no particular reason. And further, someone contributed that Hiroki may not be able to join the team because he's too young. Nonsense! #1, that's like saying Franz Hopper couldn't go to Lyoko because he's too old. #2, Hiroki wouldn't go to Lyoko anyway. He would stay with Jeremie in the factory to defend Earth. As a summary, anyone could join Team Lyoko. But you have a point. The writers will have to pick who joins the team. But I'll stop watching Code Lyoko if it's Mrs. Hertz. --Gravity Control

I agree with Gravity Control. Anyone can join Team Lyoko, even Herb or Nicholas. But to be frank, I don't think the writers will put new members into the team. It is not needed, plus it would ruin the show in a way. KFan II 03:13, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

I just finished. Someguy, I know what you mean when you say that it is pointless to list some of these extras, as their contributions are so minor that they really don't even further the series. Hervé's name pronounciation

Herve was understandable. But now you guys are calling this guy Hervé? That's the French translation! Where's the English one? They so do not pronounce his name Hervé in the show, Herve was closer. KFan II 12:18, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

But he can ask me. I know we don't pronounce his name correctly in the show, but that's the American broadcast. CL originated in France, so their pronunciation functions take precedence, as is their right as the creators, whether we like it or not. I admit, I get annoyed by having to scroll down to the symbols column and click the "é" whenever I write his name in the episode recaps, but it's only properly-rendered respect. There is no reason to think she's still at Kadic. She implied Kadic is not good enough for a girl like her, so we can suppose she left. Hiroki

Hiroki has to be in 7th grade if he's in Kadic. Unless, Kadic really allows 5th-12th?

Don't know what 5th and 12th are, but as a former student from Lakanal (Kadic's model) I can say there are students from 11 yo (younger if genius) to 20yo (older if you need more than one year to perform the year's study).

Its official, I've heard it, Hiroki is 7th grade, I'm sure of it. Johnny, his friend, was his age and in 7th grade, this is supported by Ulrich in The Pretender, Ulrich says he was tricked when he was in 7th grade.

Other Characters section

Just to be sure, is there a good reason why the "Other Characters" section was purged from the page? As far as I'm concerned, a character doesn't need to be from Kadic Academy to be mentionable on this article, i.e. Yumi's parents among others.
