Untitled edit

I used to love a program on ABC at Friday 5:30's during early 200's about some brits in the blue mountains trying to find aliens, It was great, does anyone know what it was?Cheers 222.154.66.35 03:47, 15 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Probably a bit late now, but I think you're referring to a show called Jeopardy. It was produced by CBBC Scotland I think. timgraham 07:21, 28 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Added "The Animals of Farthing Wood (TV series)" to previous programming section. I watched this on ABC in the mid 90s 114.30.111.126 (talk) 09:02, 7 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Australian Broadcasting Corporation Logo Transparent.png edit

Image:Australian Broadcasting Corporation Logo Transparent.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 04:25, 27 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Corrections edit

In previous programming, should "Dramarama" be linked to Dramarama_(TV_series)instead of the current page which looks like a band? 131.217.6.7 (talk) 00:05, 15 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

I thought Lens on Lilliput was an Australian show - are you sure it was foreign ? RossRSmith (talk) 01:26, 21 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Separation of current vs previous programs edit

I am wondering why there are separate lists for current vs previous programs, foreign and domestic? Programs come and go quite quickly which makes it unlikely the article will be up-to-date and by trying to maintain a current list would seem to be contrary to WP:NOTTVGUIDE. I don't see a problem with separating adult vs children content as that's a property of the individual program but when/where the program is aired, especially in this era of iView etc seems a bit pointless. Title correction edit

One bullet point is "[[Nonsense and Lullabies]]" (one page links to that link: List of programs broadcast by ABC Television). It is actually "[[Nonsense and Lullabyes]]" (one pages links to that link: 1993 in Australian television". How do I know this? Answer: see http://www.worldcat.org/title/nonsense-and-lullabyes-nursery-rhymes/oclc/42498016 and http://www.michaelspornanimation.com/splog/?p=974

There is an incorrect title of it at Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Nonsense-Lullabies-Poems-Children-VHS/dp/6302390567 - "Nonsense and Lullabies: Poems for Children VHS" (2 new and used, 1 disc each, each $20) --NoToleranceForIntolerance (talk) 21:45, 7 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Upcoming TV Shows info seems wrong edit

"Upcoming TV Shows" seems incorrect. ABC Kids ends at 7PM while ABC2 shuts down at 2AM. The reference redirects to an American website, and also shows no evidence supported. It just links to a random article.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.23.241.144 (talk) 09:21, 24 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Segregate former programs by genre just like the current programs edit

Segregate former programs by genre rather than alphabetically just like current programs rather than alphabetically because I don't want to go through the painstaking process of searching up thousands of shows that I remember but I know the name. It makes it a lot more easy.(talk) 10:47, 1 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Under the children's programs on ABC Me list it states that Little Lunch was run from "2015-2016" even though the show is still running. Hrjttamblyn (talk) 04:30, 12 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. @Hrjttamblyn: Do you have a source for this? If this is merely reruns, they do not exactly count as the show "running" (though this could of course be mentioned somewhere, preferably at the page for the program if there is one).
