Untitled edit

I have deleted the following link because the name reactions are not provided anymore:

I get a 403 Forbidden error when trying to access the following link. For this reason, I have deleted it:

If the links on this page are to be of any use in foreseeable future, I would suggest the authors limit themselves to more general reactions/denominations (such as redox, neutralization, etc...) unless of course they are seriously planning to write all those articles, in which case I bow to their boldness. --Phils 17:09, 22 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Renaming page edit

Would anybody object if I renamed this to List of organic reactions (i.e., moving it into the main space)? --Arcadian 21:12, 12 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

I think a better title for this page would be "Named reactions" - I'm sure there must be a few inorganic named reactions. --Quantockgoblin 21:57, 6 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
I agree . . . this page must be called Named reactions, or at least be a redirect from entering both "Name reactions" and "Named Reactions". Everybody (well, more or less) refers to these types of reactions as Name(d) reactions, so the convention goes that that should be the title.

Reagents edit

Should this page also have name reagents? Like Adams Catalsyst PtO2 whicb is on the list now! ChristianB 09:00, 30 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Help... edit

I have a public area where children play in the water. It's reservoir, when filled up, holds 1250gals of water. The water goes through fountains and back to the reservoir so is always recycling. It's chlorine level needs to stay in between 2 and 3. What I need to know is..., with this amount of chlorine in it..., would adding 1/2 cup of rubbing alcohol daily, cause any kind of bad effect..., say, irritation to the childrens skin or eyes at all?

Thank you soooo much!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.175.142.188 (talk) 22:12, 7 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Name reactions in Chinese Wikipedia edit

Look at the articles about name reactions in Chinese Wikipedia. Why don't they translate the names into Chinese? --128.232.251.242 (talk) 10:36, 4 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Dienone phenol rearrangement edit

The above-mentioned hyperlink leads to "phenols" article, which doesn't have any content regarding the said reaction. Viv73 (talk) 09:09, 26 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

By the above-mentioned hyperlink, I mean "Dienone phenol rearrangement" in the article. Viv73 (talk) 09:10, 26 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
