The merge of List of ponds of the Czech Republic into this article would make a more consistent Wikipedia experience. It is not clear why pons actually are larger than lakes nor why fish stocking practice should matter in keeping different articles where they can be differentiated in a single list as bodies of water. There are no other pond specific lists on Wikipedia that haven't been redirected. Wolfgang8741 says: If not you, then who? (talk) 17:02, 28 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
Oppose This list is listing non-artificial lakes only (as Czech word for lake jezero refers only to the non-artificial lakes). List of ponds of the Czech Republic is listing fish ponds only (again as Czech word for pond rybník refers only to the fish ponds). The scope is clearly different. Feel free to rename these lists, but the merge is not a good idea.Jklamo (talk) 09:53, 18 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
