Source edit

For anybody who'd like to expand this, I'd like to jot down a source. Cheers--Stultiwikiatext me 17:23, 26 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Not every source is a source. The Bible is about eternal life so that because Peleg is the first listed to die at 239 there is then more than a global Flood or postFlood weather creating deaths by high-water flooding (especially in the city or canals). There is the wave of death, the cut in longevity that MOST poems about it translate thinking it is Noah's Flood. Another factor is no one taking Creation epochs and recognizing them as the Flood.

Examples.

Egyptian Septuagint Genesis derived from ancient Egyptian Ramses. 3090-3089bc Flood +135 Arpaxed +130 Cainan +130 Shelah +134 Eber +130 Peleg +132 Reu +130 Serug +79 Nahor +70 Terah = Abram 2018-1943bc. Though based on Ramses using a +29 Nahor for Abram 2066-1991bc (Abram beings astronomy to 1st 12th dynasty Pharaoh). Greek Septuagint Genesis uses a 2958bc FROM THE GREEKS of 778bc. 2958-2957bc Flood +135 Arpaxed +130 Shelah +134 Eber +130 Peleg +132 Reu +130 Serug +79 Nahor +70 Terah = Abram 2018-1943bc. This one insists Egyptian date Kayak 25 in 2958bc is December 25 rapture upward 40 days of the ark. Because Marduk Temple is 2060-2009bc in Babel, but Nineveh is also labeled as Nimrod's city whose 52 years are 2058-2007bc, Eusebius unveils 2058-2007bc claiming Abram is 2016-1941bc. Mayan Genesis men are in 360-day tun. Thus 3114-3113bc Flood +133 (=135) Arpaxed +128 (=130) Shelah +132 (=134) Eber +128 (=130) Peleg +130 (=+132) Reu +128 (=130) Serug +176 (=179) Nahor +39 Terah = 2088bc Haran and the same year Jasher uses (2349bc Flood to 2088bc Haran), (versus Greek Terah 2088bc) Japanese 3060-3059bc Flood +135 Arpaxed +130 Shelah +134 Eber +130 Peleg +132 Reu +130 Serug +179 Nahor = 2088bc Terah, +70 Terah = Abram 2018-1943bc. Alternative 3060-3059bc Flood +135 Arpaxed +130 Shelah +134 Eber +130 Peleg +132 Reu +130 Serug +79 Nahor +130 Terah = Abram 2057bc (same as Jasher's Abram in Haran's 32nd year. The 2057bc Abram produces the Exodus as 1553bc when Moses left at 40, while 2018bc produces 1513bc when Moses was 80. Jewish Demetrius uses 1468bc as Exodus (505 years after Abram born 1973bc) because 1468bc that is when Joshua took Jerusalem (but 45 years after Exodus). Chinese Flood is published as 2953bc which is twice 720 years 180 leap days to 1513bc Exodus because it uses 2233bc as the fulcrum (Yao or Yu supposedly ending 100 years then), though this would be 100 of Shelah (Shiloh) in short Hebrew Genesis. Hindu Flood is 3102bc so that the 921 of Arpaxad & Cainan to Nahor is 3100-2179bc +29 Nahor +130 Terah = 2020bc Abram (varied 2018bc). Christian favors 5500bc Adam to 3100bc to 1900bc to 700bc to 500AD as 6000 while Hindu favors 5502bc to 3102bc to 1902bc to 702bc.75.86.172.174 (talk) 00:11, 5 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Norse and Germanic edit

flood legends are missing. --41.150.99.14 (talk) 17:55, 1 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Isn't the 500AD end of world (year 6000) Nordic Ragnarok? While Hindu Era is in 1200s so 2400 from 5500-3100bc, Christian Hippolytus uses 5500bc Adam as 2242am to 3258bc Flood as 300 years before Greek version 2958bc. Africanis uses 5500bc Adam as 2262am to 3238bc easily regarding its end in 3237bc as Chinese (all Asia) 600-year cycle to 2637bc calendar of Huang Di. So if Nordic, then sources of India, and Alexandria Egypt have reached the Nords via Hippolytus of Thebes Greece. This timeline all uses 1900bc as a fulcrum fall of Chaldea becomes rise of Babylon. (correct 1894bc, 6 years between).75.86.172.174 (talk) 00:23, 5 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Sources for taiwan tribe edit

The only source I was able to find was a risky site. Don't click on it. Search "Oppehnaboon" on Google" and you'll see that there are 4 links that pop up in Taiwanese, and 1 that pops up in English. The other is Cloudfront for this wikipage. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kirchcou000 (talkcontribs) 11:01, 29 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
