Marilyn Monroe edit

Ok, I notice that Marilyn Monroe is listed here. However, her death is generally believed a suicide (or possibly a conspiracy-related murder) - I've never heard accidental drug overdose mentioned, and it's hard to see how someone could take a fatal dose of sleeping pills accidentally. Sorry, thought that was her "official cause of death"--apparently the coroner called it suicide. My bad. jengod 23:56, Mar 9, 2004 (UTC)

What about Gia Carangi and Margaux Hemingway? On the former's page, she is said to have died from complications of AIDS while the latter is said to have died from an intentional -- that is, not accidental -- overdose. I don't think either of them belong on this list.

what drug edit

It would be good to also list what drug was taken, and cause of death. --Pfafrich 12:18, 11 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

cleanup edit

This page needs to be organized or sorted in some manner. Kidvicious 00:36, 3 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Dana Plato edit

I am going to take out Dana Plato, since her death was ruled a suicide, and since this entry conflicts with the main Dana Plato entry. --DavidShankBone 14:59, 6 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

double listing edit

brad nowell has been listed twice..

Title/purpose edit

What a weird article. Why not leave out the "accidental"? How can you for certain know these were accidental and not suicides? 81.244.151.129 19:04, 3 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

This article really needs to be cleaned up edit

I just removed Hugh O'Connor from the list, who died of a self-inflicted gunshot to the head, which wouldn't be a big deal if the article had been recently changed, but this incorrect information has been on the page since February 25, 2006. It's inexcusable that such a blatantly obvious error would remain on this page for almost two years and calls into question the accuracy of the rest of the page. 68.45.106.216 (talk) 22:05, 23 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Help Expand... edit

I thought that the imprecation to "help expand this list" was a bit macabre, so I removed it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.220.59.253 (talk) 04:53, 7 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Redirected edit

I redirected this page to a similar but more comprehensive page. Of all the deaths listed here, only Sonny Liston, Christopher Pettiet, Edgar Allan Poe and Elvis Presley were not on the target page. I've added Pettiet, but don't believe the others should be counted as drug-related. 82.1.53.159 (talk) 11:07, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
