Adding Non-DC but DC Metro Area Schools

What is the Wikipedia communities thoughts on adding schools like George Mason and Maryland to this list? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Talrynf (talkcontribs) 05:58, 19 February 2019 (UTC)

Non-Carnegie or Dept of Ed institutions

I understand that the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, and Graduate School USA are not listed under the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education or by the United States Department of Education Institute of Education Sciences, but it seems odd not to list them. Perhaps they can be included in another section, similar to the defunct institutions? In the case of the Nitze school, would it even have a separate listing apart from Johns Hopkins? Thanks, epicAdam(talk) 15:34, 2 February 2014 (UTC)

When I look up accreditation on the Nitze School's website, it links back to the main JHU website, as one would expect for an academic unit of a larger institution. In addition, the school is a member of the Association of Professional Schools of International Studies [1]. Best, epicAdam(talk) 15:45, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
Hey epicAdam! Thank you for your suggestion. I'd planned to add these three institutions to the list, but I was still figuring out how to include them when you posted. I've created a section for the Carnegie Classification institutions and a section for those not included in the classification. Take a look and let me know if this works! Thanks again! -- Caponer (talk) 23:37, 2 February 2014 (UTC)

Inconsistent listings

Why is UDC's law school listed separately from UDC, but Georgetown's law school not? It seems that a university, by its nature, should include all of its constituent schools /colleges. --Piledhigheranddeeper (talk) 13:08, 19 February 2016 (UTC)
