Definition of city

The article is a list of cities not Palestinian cities. There is no reason to remove the Israeli cities unless this article is being appropriated renamed.

Please see wiktionary Wiktionary:city or an otherwise 'external' definition of city.

The Israeli Ministry of Interior (Israel) categorization usually requires a population of about 20 000 residents, therefore the Israeli local municipalities such as Efrat and Kedumim are not relevant unless the article is likewise changed to list of municipalties... which would include towns/villages above 5000 people.

Can someone confirm the populations of the Palestinian cities? Perhaps we should attach the population numbers to each entry? I've added Salfit since I believe that about 30 000 live there. --Shuki 22:57, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Hebrew names for Arab cities

We should probably remove the nonbiblical names. I was unsure what to do with names like Beit Jala and Tulkarm whose relation to Hebrew/Aramaic is made immediately obvious with the Hebrew displayed though. Tewfik^Talk 04:27, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

Al quds is the arabic name for the city. it's written in arabic. the english name is jerusalem written in english. the hebrew name is written in hebrew... I think that's most neat like this. see in the jerusalem article :
