Talk:List of WireTap episodes

Was the episode from 12-24-07 a repeat, and thus not included in the list?

I haven't been able to find out what this episode was called, I missed the first few minutes both times...

It was a repeat. There is a list of recent episodes here: http://www.supernintendochalmers.net/wiretap/ Ccscott 09:36, 24 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Quick reply, thanks! Do you know which episode it was a repeat of? The one mentioning the turnip seeders I've been trying to get since I heard it... I wonder if it would also be best to modify the list to indicate which weeks were repeats, and if so, which episode was being repeated? Thanks again!
I'm not sure about specific episodes, but you can also get information on episodes of many CBC Radio One programs at the The Hotsheets Archive. I don't think it would be too practical to include the dates of repeats in this list - I think it is designed to document the existence of all the episodes not each time they play. It would be nice however to include a description of each episode. However, as far I can tell past episodes are still not available for download or purchase so it would be difficult to provide descriptions for past episodes unless someone has someone has access to the CBC archives. Oh, the episode is listed as 'One of a Kind' from July 16, 2005. Ccscott 08:17, 25 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Any particular reason why the list is in reverse chronological order? heqs ·:. 09:03, 4 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think the assumption was that people referencing the page were more likely to be interested in the most recent episodes. I don't think it matters either way so I see no reason to change it. Ccscott 11:07, 5 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Per the Manual of Style, chronological order is preferred. heqs ·:. 15:17, 7 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
The order at List of This American Life episodes is also reverse chronological but as I said I have no preference so please reorder them if you'd like. Ccscott 06:34, 8 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
I'd say roughly about 90-95% of lists on Wikipedia are in chronological order, so it kind of pokes you in the eye when you see one that isn't. heqs ·:. 16:00, 8 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
It doesn't matter what the other lists do bevcause we want something useful. Most useful seems in order. In sequence. It seems either reverse or unreverse ar both in sequence, because that way we can find episdoes by time of airimg 15:39, 3 October 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lingust (talkcontribs)
