Note to administrators: Despite this page currently meeting CSD G8, please leave it be for the moment, some users will use it to plan and work out some technical details before creating this article. I undeleted this per my comment on User talk:Nihiltres#Re:_deletion_of_Talk:List_of_Skunk_Fu_episodes and WP:IAR. Thanks, Nihiltres(t.l) 14:50, 22 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

table of episodes edit

does anyone know how to make a table for the episodes, if anyone has any experience in making tables i will appreciate any help.--Lerdthenerd 12:50, 22 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I just created a basic table of the episodes listed at here: [1]. I also put in an introduction, though I think the slight speculation about Super RTL airing the show soon (though it would make perfect sense) might not be suitable, but I'll leave that for an admin to decide. It's not complete or fancy-looking, so Wikipedians can work on it as more details are released about the order of the episodes, exact air dates etc. Also, if anyone who has seen each of these episodes could leave a short description, that would be ideal (I'll be adding some description as I view each episode). Oh and just a side note - when I access the page from the 'List of episodes' link in the Skunk Fu article, it shows me the page without the descriptions I added. Clicking 'discussion' and then 'article' again leads to the article being back to it's updated state... odd, is this a bug? Can someone fix this or is it just my browser? MathiasFox 12:46, 23 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Mathias, I think you are right. There is a bug in the table formatting somewhere. I did the same as you and when I went back to the article, the summaries were there. I will have a look at the formatting used on the other lists of episodes on WP and see if I can find out WTH has gone wrong. I have also added 4 more episode summaries and also added one extra episode which was not listed (The Art of Being a Pebble) and took out a duplicate (The Art of Kung Fruit). I will try and do a bit more as soon as I get the chance. Regards, and Thanks for nailing the table problem for us. Thor Malmjursson 12:37, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Notice to editors! edit

I have got the correct formatting now for the table, which will enable it to work correctly without bogging up when you go to view. I have entered the sample of this code below, and will make every attempt to implement it as soon as humanly possible! This is what the table should look like:

Title Broadcast Year Episode Summary
The Art of Giggling 2007 Skunk is having extreme difficulty concentrating, owing to a major fit of the giggles. Panda tries to sort him out by getting Turtle first to try and cure him, then sending him to Master Frog. Unfortunately, Master Frog's training sends Skunk in the other direction, causing him to cry at the slightest thing.
The Art of Being a Pebble 2007 Panda teaches Skunk a completely fictitious method of training in the hopes of relaxing his mind.

Any questions, point them in my general direction!!! Regards, Thor Malmjursson 12:50, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

it looks brilliant Thor, i've started adding episode summaries from episodes i have watched--Lerdthenerd 13:34, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I've added the table in. Unfortunately, it still has the bug as mentioned earlier. MathiasFox 14:00, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

the art of Giggling has been duplicated--Lerdthenerd 15:13, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Have just arrived directly at the article from my contribs list and I cannot see any trace of the bug now, Mathias. Could you let me know back here which browser / type of Operating system you are using, since this may require a bugzilla report to be made. Thor Malmjursson 12:57, 27 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

the bug is still causing problems for me, i'm using internet explorer--Lerdthenerd 20:51, 28 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ok - So we have 2 people experiencing this bug - I have been on several times now from Internet Explorer 6.0.2800 (Updated with SP1) on Windows 2000 Professional, and am seeing nada other than a normal page. I am going to suggest at this point that I open up a bugzilla report for this issue - what I will need from you Lerd, is complete details of your operating system and browser version, which I already have from Mathias, and from both of you, I will need details of what the bug is actually doing on your machines, so I can make notes in the bugzilla report. You can drop them off on my talk page rather than here if you wish. I hoep we can resolve this, since if its affecting you, we don't want other visitors to the page to be hit :) Thor Malmjursson 11:20, 29 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Side note - I have opened a bug temporarily on the bugzilla, relating to this issue, based on what was happening earlier (bits of the tabel missing) - It is listed here . Thor Malmjursson 11:46, 29 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

im using windows xp (home version)my browser version is internet explorer 7, basically the bug shrinks the table and deletes its contents, but it goes back to normal when i go back to the article from this talk page. --Lerdthenerd 14:11, 29 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Same problem here - I created a simple table but this early edit that I made seems to have stuck for some reason (except when I click 'discussion' and then on 'article'). Also, Thor, we have an unruly editor problem on the Skunk Fu main article (info is at Talk > Broadcast), just thought I'd let you know. MathiasFox 22:40, 29 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the info Mathias - I take it that the unruly editor is the one who keeps listing that TG4 are broadcasting Skunk Fu! in English... TG4 have never broadcast squat in English... BTW, Lerd - The info about your OS and Browser has now been added along with the details of what you are telling me about what the bug is doing. I hope we can get a resolution on this soon. Thanks all. Thor Malmjursson 12:12, 30 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

thanks Thor, hopefully we can get the bug and the unruly editor sorted out. ive looked at Skunk Fu! history of edits page and it seems this editor as already reverted 3 times, if they do it again we can ban them from editing for breaking the 3RR rule.--Lerdthenerd 14:05, 30 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Note: Guys - I am gonna refer you directly to the bug, and ask if you would be able to make your own reports on it as well as what I have posted -: One of Wikimedia's developer's, User:Robchurch has said he has tested the page on 3 different browsers, and been unable to see a problem. Use the link I left above to go to the bug, remember to register since you need to before posting to the bug. Cheers guys. Thor Malmjursson 11:59, 1 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

new episode today not displayed on table edit

a new episode was shown today that is not on the table. It is about Skunk having to look after an egg and Panda is knocked out by sleeping powder, he is then kidnapped by the Ninja monkeys, I think it is called "The Art of endurance"--Lerdthenerd 15:58, 1 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Regards: Unruly editor on Main Skunk Fu article edit

Quick message to all from the Skunk Fu article, our IP editor who was changing the Country of Origin from Ireland to UK, has (I suspect) now registered an account! User:TG4 made the same alteration on the article as the IP and in the same format!!! I have issued a vandalism warning to him/her/whatever the hell it is and made it clear that the addition were reverted. TTYL. Thor Malmjursson 07:48, 4 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Lol! its ironic he decided to name himself after something he is vandalising!--Lerdthenerd 14:51, 4 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hang the flags out!!! - Following another round of vandalism by TG4, I reported to AIV this morning, and at 12:47 UTC today, Sir Nicholas de-Mimsy Porpington nailed the little £%^"& permanently with an Indefinite ban from Wikipedia, and blocked Account creation on this user. Hopefully, we should have very few or no incidents of vandalism now on Skunk Fu or any of its associated articles. Regards, Thor Malmjursson 13:10, 7 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

At last, I was having a few editing problems thanks to this person. MathiasFox 23:01, 28 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

US air dates edit

If this was an Irish series, why do we have US air dates? I will likely cut them if the Irish air dates cannot be provided. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:55, 11 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
