Tupa Tamasese Meaole and Tupa Tamasese Lealofi one was the Mau leader was was gunned dwon by the New zealanders during a protest march and the other became one of the two heads of state. Which is which also one is the uncle of Tupa Tamasese Tupuola Efi and the other his Father???

Should include some dates especially in regards to terms of office for both Ministers and Departmental heads. This is especially relevant for Members of Parliament and Ministers to give some idea as to the length of their terms and the different portfolios held and different constituencies they represented etc. Maybe dates of birth and death.

Need confirmation about Mata'afa Iosefa. Is it Iosefa or Iosefo? Was Mata'afa Iosefa the uncle of Fiame Faumuina Mata'afa Mulinuu II?

Who was Fiame Faumuina Mata'afa Mulinuu I? Fiame Faumuina Mata'afa Mulinuu II's Father???

Also should include some information about the Samoa Mo Samoa "Mau Movement" and its membership. Looks like this section may need to be subdivided.

you asked: Which is which also one is the uncle of Tupa Tamasese Tupuola Efi and the other his Father???

Tupa Tamasese Tupuola Efi's father is Tupa Tamasese Meaole. The Uncle is Tupa Tamasese Lealofi III. (source: my mom is a tamasese. sorry it's the only reliable source I have other than the book Mao).

you asked: Need confirmation about Mata'afa Iosefa. Is it Iosefa or Iosefo? Was Mata'afa Iosefa the uncle of Fiame Faumuina Mata'afa Mulinuu II?

answer - Mata'afa Iosefo. On his biography, he has a picture wearing a rosary. ISBN-author: Kramer, Augustin. Samoa Inseln. English 1995

re: NZ Samoans who have worked hard to establish their community in New Zealand

Why is this section of the list necessary on wikipedia? This section could be promoting real estate agents who are also talking chiefs which makes it a weasel post. There needs to be proof of their accomplishments to the press rather than setting up some community in NZ. If that's such the case to leave it there, Then I'd like to add my cousin on a new section for Samoans in the community of San Diego. noble experiment 06:24, 17 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Whether this section stays or goes, one of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's entries should go. He's listed twice under his two names. That's supurfluous and redundant. Zukkie44 21:57, 5 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Princess of American Samoa? edit

Is there such a thing? As far as I am aware, American Samoa doesn't have a royal family, but there are matais, just like there are in Western Samoa. - (203.211.73.10 22:05, 13 May 2007 (UTC))Reply

Tupua Tamasese Lealofi III edit

"Tupua Tamasese Lealofi III - 29 December 1929 Tama Aiga. One of the leaders of the Mau Movement. Most Samoans still remember that BLACK SATURDAY, December 28, 1929, when Tupua Tamasese III was assassinated by New Zealand Police while leading a peaceful protest."

^this is highly biased, there is no reference on this page although there is one on this individuals page. However the reference states that far from being ' peaceful', many samoans in addition to a nz police officer were killed.

I'm having issues editing articles on my phone, but this needs to be fixed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.63.83.210 (talk) 16:10, 2 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
