MPs who aren’t reselected

How does this page propose including those MPs who didn’t stand again but didn’t specifically ‘stand down’?

If this is a list of MPs that retired at the election, it should include all those who chose not to stand for re-election, even if this was a choice made for them (after all, even a deselected MP could still choose to stand as an Independent, as people like Jeremy Corbyn or Julian Knight have done. Some will probably lose and leave Parliament that way but that’s a different matter.) OGBC1992 (talk) 06:55, 6 June 2024 (UTC)

Further to this, by my calculations there are up to five MPs that are missing from this table (pending the publication of SOPN on Friday): David Duguid, Sam Tarry, Lloyd Russell-Moyle, Mick Whitley and Beth Winter. Potentially added to these is Jamie Wallis if he has not found a seat by tomorrow.

We have included other MPs who were deselected that subsequently chose not to stand (e.g. Patrick Grady, Richard Bacon, Christina Rees) so come tomorrow I propose we include the above names as well. OGBC1992 (talk) 07:41, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
