Separate Regular and Non-Regular Sketches
Note: Someone needs to add information about the segment when the audience members read pickup lines to the blindfolded group. That was one of his funniest segments. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.195.66.46 (talk) 13:13, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
The reoccurring sketches would obviously be the most important ones and most likely to have citation and verification. The Sketches featured on Late Show with David Letterman article for example separates regular and non-regular sketches and has a partial list of sporadic comedy bits. This would also make it easier to determine what content is irrelevant and should just be deleted.
I would not consider some of the items listed on this page to even be "sketches." They would just be jokes or featured aspects of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and they should at least be separated or identified as such, if not deleted.
I think that a sketch should be considered to be regular if it has occured more than once and I think the following are the only ones that have:
Regular Sketches
- Slow Jam the News - 7th Floor West - Target Demographic
Regular Sketches with Audience Participation
- Lick it for Ten - Shared Experience - Beef Solvers - Freestylin' with The Roots - What's on your ...? (Facebook, Playlist, Taxform, etc.) - Cell Phone Shootout
Notable Comedy Bits involving Celebrities / Guests (because these may be more notable than just any random bit, even if they happened once)
- Pie Sniffer (Saturday Night Live's Casey Wilson) - Spoiler Alert (Saturday Night Live's Fred Armisen) - Bryan Brinkman (Russell Brand, Alex Albrecht, and Kevin Rose) - Saved by the Bell Reunion (Mario Lopez & Dennis Haskins) - Chattanooga Mocs (Dennis Haskins & Head Coach)
Other Comedy Bits - move all other entries here, some of which should probably just be deleted cause they are not exactly notable; like the Ivy League Spring break and the Demon

- If this article is only for sketches that are re-curring or have celebrities, it should be re-named as such. Its simply called "List of sketches...", I don't see where it says it has to specifically fit your criteria. TomCat4680 (talk) 00:27, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
- It's not personal and it doesn't have to fit my criteria, thats why I'm simply offering an opinion in the talk page to see if others agree. I'm mainly suggesting that it would be a more helpful resource if it were organized by those categories—to be able to see at a glance which ones are "regulars," especially as the list grows longer. I just think the article should put a regular "sketch" like Slow Jam the News and a one-time "sketch" like Ivy League Spring Breakers in different categories. Cfolz88 (talk) 19:03, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
Questions
Just a question, because I missed the episode: under the heading "Product Placement Preacher," the PPI product mentioned has to be inaccurate. It should either be "Prevacid" or "Prilosec." If anyone happens to catch the episode again, please make that change. Kelelain (talk) 18:47, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
- It most likely won't air again, most episodes only air once. You could check to see if it's still on Hulu though. TomCat4680 (talk) 19:54, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
Another question: The section entitled, "President of the Audience," refers to a first appointment on March 5, 2010, a second one on April 17, and then an overthrow of both on "March 10." I am guessing that should be "May 10." Kelelain (talk) 19:10, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
- The first "election" was March 5 2009, the first week the show was on the air. The second one was a month later. The most recent one was in March 2010. TomCat4680 (talk) 19:54, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
Move "Remix the Clips"?
Is it possible that we can move "Remix the Clips" from the "Weekly Sketches" section to the "Other Recurring Sketches" section? And what would be the best place to move it to? Because it's been a while since there's been a "Remix the Clips" sketch, and he's done them more or less sporadically since Thanksgiving of last year. I wouldn't consider it a "weekly sketch" anymore. Any thoughts? Sleckronmich (talk) 00:31, 9 April 2011 (UTC)
- Well they are only done on Thursdays but you're right they not done every week, so I'd be okay with moving it. TomCat4680 (talk) 00:41, 9 April 2011 (UTC)
"Jimmy"
We are not personal friends of Mr. Fallon, therefore we do not refer to him as Jimmy. All of those references should be changed to "Fallon". Varlaam (talk) 21:37, 26 June 2011 (UTC)
- I don't see the problem with it. Calling him "Fallon" sounds too formal. No one here is personal friends with Madonna either but nowhere in her article is she referred to as "Ciccone". TomCat4680 (talk) 23:03, 26 June 2011 (UTC)

Should this article be split into two separate articles for Late Night and Tonight Show?
Hi, guys! This list of Jimmy Fallon games and sketches is getting very long, especially if you factor in the missing sketches performed recently. Do you think this could be split into two separate lists for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon respectively? That's what happened over at Lists of Conan O'Brien sketches. EntertainmentObserver (talk) 03:31, 5 May 2024 (UTC)
