Edit war

edit

Several users and anonymous editors have begun a potiental WP:EDITWAR because of conflict over when episodes 13 and 14 will air. To all involved, please use this section to resolve the dispute instead of repeatedly removing or readding content. If this continues, this page may have to be placed under protection until consensus is reached. Reatlas (talk) 08:16, 23 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

They are not on the schedule. Check the listings. Tonight's episode is a repeat of "Dragon Flower", next week is "Heather Report Part 1". Make sure you check the schedule on Cartoon Network's and other TV listings sites. Okay? Thank you. The REAL Cable Guy (talk) 22:24, 23 January 2013 (UTC).Reply

Season 3 same release dates

edit

All of the current Season 3 episodes (up to episode 13) show a "release date" of June 26, 2015. Unless there was a marathon release on Netflix, I don't believe this to be the case (i.e., each episode usually airs on a weekly basis). If somebody knows the correct release dates, please fix them (n.b., perhaps June 26 was the Season 3 Episode 1 release date, and the rest are copy-paste errors). @Skaizun: There was a marathon release on Netflix. Alex|The|Whovian 02:03, 19 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Netflix Season 3 Episode 13's title is wrong. It's "Part 1", not "Pt. 1".

Season 5 release mention

edit

A line of text outlining the release of Season 5 was previously listed at the bottom of the table of episodes for Season 4. I don't believe the place to mention Season 5 is at the bottom of Season 4, as I believe a new season should be given its own heading. Perhaps once details are released about Season 5 (episode list, etc), a section for it could be created. --Hunterm267Talk 00:34, 9 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

The standard procedure for a Netflix series is that a sentence is added about the season's released in the lead, and that's it. Then. when the season is released, an episode table is created for it in its own section, and a new row added to the series overview table. This is per WP:TVOVERVIEW and WP:TVUPCOMING. -- AlexTW 06:43, 9 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the reply, Alex. I was not aware of the articles you linked, but have familiarized myself now, and what is described there sounds like how I would have done it. Appreciate your response. --Hunterm267Talk 15:58, 9 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Consistency in season numbering

edit

Can we have some consistency on whether these are eight seasons of the same series or two and six seasons of two separate series? We’re contradicting ourselves by trying to have it both ways. Which is it? —96.8.24.95 (talk) 08:48, 27 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Come to think of it, is there a source for the two being one series? There are DVDs of Dreamworks Dragons seasons 1 and 2, and DVDs of Dreamsworks Dragons: Race to the Edge seasons 1 and 2—two distinct series. I’m not sure whether anyone would argue that Defenders is a sequel series under the Dragons banner rather than a second season, but this does appear to be the case for Race. —96.8.24.95 (talk) 10:16, 27 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Not really this topic, but many of the episodes above have been / are being shown, in sequence, on the ordinary cable channel "Universal Kids", four episodes at a time, currently at 0200-0400 (2am to 4am) Eastern time nightly, in case anyone is interested. Maybe this info is useful in this or another article. 32.215.200.110 (talk) 05:22, 7 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
