Featured list removal
This article, as well as Timeline of Canadian elections unfortunately does not have any inline citations and thus should not be considered a featured list. I mentioned the issue on Wikipedia:WikiProject_Elections_and_Referendums for previous list of elections in Canada however no one had time/energy to make the rather arduous citations. I will nominate this article as well as the other, but will first see if anyone watching this talk page would like to take on the task first. Mattximus (talk) 20:31, 6 May 2015 (UTC)
elections before "Canada"
Why mention the United Province of Canada (and even earlier, Upper Canada and Lower Canada) but not Nova Scotia or New Brunswick? They didn't 'join' Canada, but rather 3 colonies joined together into a new entity called Canada. Likewise elections in the other provinces before they joined Confederation. Any objections to putting those in the text? (eg General elections in pre-confederation Newfoundland) --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 00:31, 8 June 2017 (UTC)
