Talk:List of Brazilian football champions/Archive 1

Copa União

The Copa União should be included in this list even if it is not officially recognized by CBF. It should be included because even being unofficial, it was still a national championship. Besides, other competitions, like the Torneio Roberto Gomes Pedrosa and the Taça Brasil are included in the list. --Carioca (talk) 19:27, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

Alright so i fixed it. I agree that none of the other tournaments are recognized by CBF, so we should include the Copa Uniao. So flamengo is hexa!!! 69.183.42.203 (talk) 23:46, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

Copa do Brasil and Copa dos Campeões

Should Copa do Brasil and Copa dos Campeões be included in this list? Or only the main national competitions can be included in this list? --Carioca (talk) 20:42, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

No, because those are not the main tournaments. On the Portuguese version of this page they do include those competitions but i dont think they are necessary. Yes they are important competitions but the three mentioned in this article are the major competitions. See List of German football champions, List of English football champions and List of American soccer champions. I think this article ranks teams by there true accomplishments unlike CBF. Hopefully CBF one day recognizes all this teams as champions! 69.183.42.203 (talk) 00:05, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
Hi! Thanks for answering my question. I understand and I agree. What is the exactly name of the Portuguese article? We need to include the Portuguese article as an interwiki. Regards, --Carioca (talk) 00:07, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
Dont mention it! Its pt:Anexo:Lista de campeões nacionais do futebol brasileiro, and i've already added it to the article. 69.183.42.203 (talk) 00:19, 2 March 2010 (UTC)

Category error?

For some reason, this page is listed at Category:Wikipedia pages with incorrect protection templates, yet on this page itself, it does not show that category, not even as a hidden category. LikeLakers2 (talk) 22:04, 30 August 2011 (UTC)

1987 news!

A "desembargador" (high justice authority in Brazil) decided that Sport Clube Recife is the UNIQUE 1987 Champion, and more.. he anulated CBF decision to declare Flamengo Champion in February 2011.

Publicado em 28/11/2011 - DECISÃO - Agravo de instrumento, recebido apenas no efeito devolutivo, foi interposto contra decisão que, examinando requerimento de cumprimento de sentença do Sport Club do Recife, ora agravado, deferiu pleito para que a CBF revogasse a Resolução da Presidência RDP nº 02/2011, a qual havia proclamado também campeão brasileiro de futebol profissional de 1987 o Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, ora agravante, e editasse outra resolução, na qual constasse, em estrita observância à sentença proferida nos autos originários, o reconhecimento do Sport Club do Recife como único campeão daquele ano.Ocorre que, em informação colhida no sistema de acompanhamento processual (fls. 877/878), foi proferida sentença declarando "satisfeita a pretensão" do Sport Club do Recife e "extinguindo o processo com resolução do mérito, nos termos do art. 794, I, do CPC", tendo em vista que a CBF juntou cópia da Resolução da Presidência (RDP) nº 06/2011, que anulou a RDP 02/2011", e o ora agravado, intimado "acerca da satisfação do julgado", "manteve-se silente".Assim, ante a sentença de extinção da execução, resta sem objeto o presente agravo, que, por isso, julgo prejudicado.Oportunamente, remetam-se os autos ao Juízo de origem. P.I. Recife, 17 de novembro de 2011. Juiz FRANCISCO CAVALCANTI - Relator ;

THE BRAZILIAN JUSTICE DECLARED SPORT THE UNIQUE CHAMPION OF 1987 AND INFORMATION SHOULD BE CHANGED IN THE ARTICLE. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.79.99.241 (talk) 18:13, 29 November 2011 (UTC)

It seems some anonymous users keep adding Flamengo as one of the 1987 champions. I included in the article the link you posted above. Regards, --Carioca (talk) 18:54, 29 November 2011 (UTC)
Hi carioca, I will not enter in a revert war with other anonymous. Someone reverted again claiming 6 titles and that's wrong. The source and facts are available, if article keeps wrong, that's a Wikipedia problem with the truth. I suggest you the edit of Flamengo article too and lock the two articles if editors insistis with revert war. As you're Administrator you have power to enforce this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.79.118.240 (talk) 13:39, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
