Complete list of generals (June 2023)

This opinion piece from Guardian Post Cameroon contains a list of well over a hundred separatist generals, many of whom are mentioned in the Wiki article. It's a shame the author does not list his source, as it could have been most helpful. Mikrobølgeovn (talk) 13:56, 9 June 2023 (UTC)

@Mikrobølgeovn: Should we create a new article, termed List of Ambazonian commanders in the Anglophone Crisis (similar to List of warlords in the Central African Republic)? There are certainly enough rebel leaders to warrant a list (especially as the "Notable individual leaders whose affiliation could not be verified" part of this article has become quite bloated). Additionally, many of the commanders were (at least for limited periods) somewhat notable, but not to the extent that they could ever get their own articles. @Mikrobølgeovn: I would suggest we only remove the unaffiliated commanders (i.e. those under "Notable individual leaders whose affiliation could not be verified") from this article, replacing it with a link to the new list article. Regarding the new list article's possible structure, I would generally mirror the approach of List of warlords in the Central African Republic. However, I would argue that we divide the rebel leaders on this new list (where possible) by territory, as their place of operations / death was often known (unlike their militia association).
