Contradiction: number of entries, series 3 - 2011

The article says at one point that 16 entrants were knocked down to 8; at another point it says 800; and in one of the other citations it says 184. This is crazy. Can anyone explain please because the article cannot be left in this state, surely? - Sitush (talk) 19:40, 24 March 2011

Please do not patronise. It is not "simple" - the article is contradictory and the sources, regardless of what you say, do not agree. Please stop removing this maintenance template until the issue is resolved. - Sitush (talk) 20:31, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

Just to be crystal clear here, Wnfck and Vermapriya1986, you are aware of Wikipedia's policy regarding sockpuppetry correct? Many editors have taken the time to express to you how your editing is disruptive and provided copious amounts of advice as to the proper methods of dispute resolution. You keep yelling for blocks, but in the end it will only be you who is blocked for edit warring and disruptive editing. --Jezebel'sPonyo^{bons mots} 20:44, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

Please do not threaten other editors with a block, its against the WP:NPA rule. Besides, a content dispute or confusion is not vandalism. Having said that, i think i can understand what the sources convey. 800 people did an audition for this content, with 184 coming from a certain region (Of which 3 were selected for the final 16). Of these 800 people 16 were eventually selected to compete in the series themselves. As i read it the final round was between 8 candidates, of which 1 became the winner of the show. Just to clarify the contradiction, using the cited sources:

• 184
• 800
• ... and the article section starts by saying 16.

How is this resolved? This is an encyclopedia, not a fan site. We cannot have contradictory information. Well, we shouldn't, at any rate. - Sitush (talk) 20:49, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
