Hurricane

The article says that a hurricane destroyed Aunt Josephine's house. Is that supported by the book? Do the filmmakers not know what a hurricane is? I've never heard of a hurricane with high winds, no rain, and lasting five minutes. Shivan Bird 00:20, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

Actually, the book mentions that Aunt Josephine's house was blown away by Hurricane Herman. It is true thathurricanes occur near large bodies of water, which is stated in the book when Klaus remarks that "hurricanes occur near the ocean", with the taxi driver replying that, as Lake Lachrymose was such an enormous body of water, it "could have anything occured on it". After all, the book itself is quite absurd, so such a small account of scientific inconsistency is tolerable.--Orthologist 22:57, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

I changed the trivia entry

• Billy Connolly and Timothy Spall are the only actors in the film to be both part of the Lemony Snicket universe and the Harry Potter universe.

Pronunciation

Incorrect Quote?

• Snicket discourages this in saying that "If you want to see a movie about a happy, little elf, then please exit the theater or turn off the VCR or DVD."
