New Pneumatic Parts? (7/23/2016) edit

I just caught site of some pneumatic parts I hadn't seen before. I don't spend much (any) time with Lego anymore. Perhaps someone will read this that does, and will have the time and motivation to update this article appropriately... The parts are referred to as v2 (which may cause some confusion with the Generation 2 designator) may be seen here: http://www.lego.com/en-us/technic/explore/designer-blogs/technic-pneumatics-2 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:838E:AF20:34F5:56FE:DEFE:CC5A (talk) 21:17, 23 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Lego pneumatics is worthy of its own article which I am happy to contribute to. The subject is both interesting and covers important pneumatic principles etc. PennbradlyUser:Pennbradly 08:10, 4 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

You can (unofficially) use at least some parts in hydraulic systems. Many years ago, a friend and I built a piston-containing grabber, which had a hugely-geared-down-motor operating another piston, with a simple tube between the two parts. Air? Useless without repeated pumping, and difficult to re-open the claw. Water? Massively strong, but very slow. The claw was perfect for the front of a computer-controlled buggy, anyway - with the hydraulic 'pump' on top of the buggy. 91.86.19.144 (talk) 14:32, 8 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
