The Mint: Newton present at executions?
editI do not have the source but as a further indication of Newton taking the job seriously, I read that he was involved personally in detecting counterfeiters (I do not know what this entailed). I also read that he was present at the executions of counterfeiters which at the time I think involved drawing and quartering.
I think if sourced this might be added to the article.--Jrm2007 (talk) 04:49, 10 November 2013 (UTC)
I see the above discussed in the main bio of Newton, but perhaps it could be added here.--Jrm2007 (talk) 06:57, 10 November 2013 (UTC)
Bit of a hagiography, no?
editI think this article could do with a bit of a more objective re-writing.

Why is Later Life a separate page?
editI may be wrong here but I would have though having "later Life" as an additional page on Newton is unnecessary. Can't the page be merged? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nerak99 (talk • contribs) 12:41, 31 January 2021 (UTC)
Lead section is subpar
editIt doesn't really summarize the article at all. Partofthemachine (talk) 22:17, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
